Thanks for buying Alternative Snares!

  • C and R sliders and buttons
The "C" and "R" sliders are the microphone volumes for Close and Room mics.
If you click on the letters, you can purge or load the samples for that microphone position.
  • Roll
This slider sets the dynamic for the roll of each snaredrum. The rolls are always on the keys Eb or Ab. By default, the Roll slider is assigned to CC1, which is the modwheel of your keyboard.

  • Pitch: Changes the tuning of the drums. This takes the 21ms latency into account.
  • Reverb: Sets the overall reverb.
  • Randomness: Sets the amount of random timedelay for each note.
  • Spread: The amound of stereo spread, from the left to the right of the keyboard.

  •  ADSR
    • Attack: How long a sound takes to ascend from its initial silence to peak amplitude.
    • Decay: How quickly a sound dissipates after its initial impact.
    • Sustain: How loud a sound is when the key is held down.
    • Release: How long a sound takes to fade to silence after the key is released.
